This life size statue of Abraham Lincoln is one of five cast sculptures that MGA created for Discovery Park in Union City, Tennessee. It is based on the famous photograph taken on October 3rd, 1862 at the Battlefield of Antietam, one of the bloodiest days in American history. Lincoln was desperate for a victory and the stress of the battle and the war show on his face.
